Shri M.K. Mehta English medium School is the First in Umargam to have this interactive board in class rooms to endow with child centered teaching and learning.
The IT section educates students on Computer Networking (Topologies, Wired Technologies, Wireless Technologies, Java-IDE with Net bean-(Swing Control), Database Management Systems (My SOL), IT Applications, Internet Services, HTML Programming, Visual Basic and C++.
The school offers rebate in fees to the parents who have to or more children studying in the school. Refund of 50% of Admission fee amount to those student who have completed 7 years in school including STD 12″.
The school has produced Volleyball and Cricket players for interschool, Taluka District, State and National level. The students on various occasion has represented Gujarat state. Around 18 players in Volleyball and 29 players in Cricket have represented at District, State and National level during 2011.
